Her name is Efrosina Angelova, and she is the high-priced call girl who accused Armie Hammer of rape, the only one of the four women who has a police investigation for her claims. She is known as Effie, and her business goes by the name House of Effie.
For the purpose of this blog, however, I will refer to her as "Misty" after the film Play Misty For Me which is about a female stalker who relentlessly pursues and torments a disk jockey that she has had a brief fling with.
Why this name from this particular film, you ask?
Because this is what happened with Armie Hammer and Effie (Misty). He saw her a few times as a client and Misty became more and more obsessed with him until it got to the point where something terrible happened.
In the film, the female stalker tried to literally kill the disk jockey with a knife.
In this real-life situation Effie(Misty) destroyed Armie's career and reputation with, not only fake allegations of rape, but with fake DMs which made him look like he had a cannibal fetish.
This is indeed true.
